The acquisition extends Rousselot® Hydrolyzed Collagen (RHC) product range.

At Vitafoods 2008 (Geneva, 6-8 May), Rousselot® will be presenting its “Dream Slim™”, “Superfruit Me!™”, “Young and Beautiful™” and “Healthy Bone Smoothie™” cocktails, high protein solutions for the health and cosmeceutical industries.

Rebière Company has joined the Rousselot Group on January 21, 2008, thus creating the Worldwide Leader in Gelatine products and services. The two companies are now working diligently to combine their operations and to work as one strong entity going forward. Rebière is now Rousselot Gelatinas do Brasil.

On October 31st, VION has entered into a joint venture with the Brazilian company Rebière. The latter company is one of the leading companies in the Brazilian gelatine market, and belongs to the top 10 gelatine companies in the world.
