On June 3rd 2016, the CEO of Rousselot China, George Liu was reelected for a second two-year term as President of the Gelatin Manufacturers Association of Asia Pacific (GMAP). The longest time any one person may hold this position is two two-year terms.

The President of the GMAP plays an important role in the development of the gelatin industry in Asia Pacific and at Rousselot we are proud to see our China CEO re-appointed to this influential position.

The GMAP association represents the major gelatin manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region, which covers Australia, China, India, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand and Taiwan. It is one of the four independent gelatin associations located across the globe, working alongside its sister organizations, the Gelatine Manufacturers of Europe (GME), Gelatin Manufacturers Institute of America (GMIA), and South America Gelatin Manufacturers Association (SAGMA).
