Son, February 14, 2019
To respond to the needs of our fast-moving world and ensure the long-term success of our company, Rousselot has put innovation at the heart of its development strategy. Supporting this strategy, the new Pilot Hall inaugurated on February 14th, comes with the most modern and cutting-edge equipment. The new facility will assess, on an industrial scale, all product- and process innovations developed by the R&D and regional application laboratories, thereby ensuring their viability and rapid adoption by Rousselot customers.

Operations Director Frederic Martin's comments: “This new Pilot Hall and the complete integration of all key stages of the development of our products within a single site will promote synergies between these different activities and allow us to gain efficiency. We are now better positioned than ever to drive innovation in our target markets and to help our customers reaching further with us.”

In March 2018, Guido Vanderstappen, the late Rousselot Ghent plant manager, laid the foundation stone of the new Pilot Hall. Less than one year later, the official inauguration of the new building took place in the presence of the management of Rousselot, the employees of the site of Ghent and the family of Guido Vanderstappen. Indisputably, Rousselot Ghent, now managed by Jurgen Piepers, stands out today as the flagship site of Rousselot.
