Rousselot Biomedical gelatins: The fast track to market

Designed by nature, perfected by Rousselot

Gelatin, a biomaterial designed by nature, is widely used in human medicine. Its natural biocompatibility and biodegradability, combined with its customizability, make it the biomaterial of choice for a large number of pharmaceutical and biomedical applications. However, as for any natural product, ensuring sufficient purity and batch-to-batch consistency is key. When selecting a gelatin-based biomaterial, it is crucial to choose high quality gelatins that meet these criteria to give your biomedical application the best chance of success.

With the strictest quality, consistency and regulatory documentation, Rousselot Biomedical gelatins reduce the variability in research and clinical developments and help you to fast-track your products to market.

Find an X-Pure or Quali-Pure gelatin solution today:

X-Pure®

The X-Pure range offers ultra-pure GMP1-grade gelatins in various types (gelling/non-gelling) from various sources (porcine/bovine), as well as modified gelatins like GelMA and GelDAT. Due to our unique production process, all X-Pure products can be customized to meet the needs of your product; we can tailor the bloom, viscosity, molecular weight, degree of modification, or produce a whole new modification entirely.

X-Pure gelatins are ideal for research and sensitive in-body applications (such as those related to the brain, blood, heart or eyes) due to their ultra-low endotoxin levels (≤ 10 EU/g).

Quali-Pure®

Are you already using a pharmaceutical gelatin? Quali-Pure is a reliable alternative offering the consistency you seek, as well as the regulatory compliance you need.

The Quali-Pure range offers endotoxin-controlled gelling and non-gelling (hydrolyzed) gelatins. Quali-Pure is produced under GMP and comes with documentation to support compliance towards applicable legislation, including ISO standards and the new EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR).

ENLIGHT Project

Rousselot Biomedical is supporting the European ENLIGHT project to develop a living 3D model of the pancreas to enable better testing of diabetes medication.
